Hopefully, I have set up an alert so that everyone in the office recieves an email that an entry has been posted. I’m still working on how to tag and/or categorize posts.
However, I did find a search module, that I’ve used both here and in the book review database. In each case, it only appears on the two individual pages and only searches within the relevant content types (so, blog entries and book-related nodes, respectively). Hopefully, this will be a better search mechanism than the one that was in the book review database previously, and it will also allow us to search for keywords within the blog once we have more entries.
One last thing: this blog doesn’t appear on any of the menus on the website: to get to it you have to be logged in and then go to jie.yale.edu/blog.
