To import articles from a new issue of the JIE into RefWorks, you can either import them from EndNote or the Wiley Online Library. To import them from Wiley, follow the same steps as for EndNote, only choose the RefWorks Format instead. Then, when the RefWorks login screen comes up, use the username "JIE" and password "rmts4jie." This is probably the simplest way, because to import files from EndNote, you have to import the entire library (I suppose you could make a file that had only the newest articles in it). To do this, while logged in to RefWorks, go to "References," "Import EndNote V8+ Database."
However you do it, make sure that the following fields are correctly filled in. Many of them are similar to the corresponding fields in EndNote, but others have different names.
1. Specify the folder (by Volume number) that you want the new articles to go into.
2. Make sure there's a space between the first and last names of all the authors--that tends not to go through correctly.
3. As when importing citations to EndNote, make sure titles are sentence capitalization and that subtitles are present and correctly formatted.
4. The "descriptors" field should have the keywords in it.
5. Delete "Summary" from the beginning of the abstract.
6. In the Notes field, write either NO SuppInfo, or SuppInfo.
7. Fill in the email address of the corresponding author in Author Address
8. In the Classification field, write the article type.
9. Call Number should be the MSID.
10. Fill in the Date of Electronic Publication.
And that's it. Because users will access our library online, there is no uploading any files or changing anything on the website, as long as the actual RefWorks account remains up-to-date.
